AQUITRAIN OVERLAYS
These are screen printed overlay sides for Lima coach upgrades or scratch builders.
Aquitrain now own the artwork used to produce the original "3 Cee's " overlays and we have decided to re-introduce a limited quantity of sides in BR Lined MAROON livery. ONLY £16.50/PAIR .
The original Lima 'O' gauge coaches were only produced in CK and BSK types , whereas the overlays allow you to have a far wider choice , in fact there are 7 different coach diagrams available to allow you to make up most train formations . These are ; First Open ; Tourist Second Open ; Second Corridor ; Corridor Composite ; Brake Second Corridor ; Restaurant / Buffet and the Full Brake . As they are an overlay you can use them to change your livery as well , so any Lima coach will do , even scratched or damaged coaches . The CK and BSK require no modification at all; you have to modify the sides of your coach for the others .
These overlays take away the fear of painting and the anguish of straight lining - it is all done for you , and you get flush glazing at the same time ! The sides are fixed to the coach with double sided tape.
All you have to do is apply the running number of your choice, and any other lettering on the sides ; all available on HMRS Pressfix transfer sheet 14. We can also supply an etched brass fret of handles , grab rails , etc for you to fit.
Aquitrain Overlays are available NOW ; they are being offered at a special price of £16.50/pair for a limited period .KETTERING SPECIAL ! Get an etched brass sheet of handles , grab rails , etc. to suit your sides,( except the BG , which needs 2 etches ) for only £5.50 , when you buy a set of Aquitrain Overlays ( Must be purchsed at the same time ) INSTRUCTION sheet now included , and toilet windows are 'frosted'.
Advice is , and always has been , freely given on converting your Lima's , just ask ! For those of you who prefer 'Ready to Run ' , I am continuing with my conversions so fully finished coaches can be ordered from me , as before .
Current RTR prices are £195 each , apart from the BG which is £215 . An allowance is made if you supply your own coach .

NEXT LIVERY !!! "Blood & Custard " livery , This livery WILL be printed ; there have been a few set backs but we are at the colour matching stage. Progress report will be posted here .
